Lived in Hudgin's apartments/houses for two years and I couldn't recommend them more. Both places were kept very well before we arrived and even updated before we moved in, communication was great, they were flexible with move in/out dates, and they were overall a joy to "work" with. I've heard so many horrible stories about most other landlords in East Lansing from friends and never once could I relate.Again could not recommend them more!

The apartment I rented was wonderful, and really made my experience at Michigan State University one to remember. They even waived the cleaning fee on the last available unit.While no apartment is ever perfect, they have taken good care of the place over time. I lived in their 408 Ann Street building and absolutely loved the apartment and the location. The apartment was clean, the building was secure, and it had convenient parking. It is super close to all of the bars and fun of downtown East Lansing, and a quick walk to campus.Hudgins realty takes good care of their properties and makes sure everything is in working order and if a problem arises they fix it right away. There is a noticeable positive difference in renting from a family owned, smaller rental company, over one of the larger companies. I would highly recommend one of their places to any student looking for a place to live.

The apartment was HUGE where my roommate and I basically had separate areas completely. Any maintenance problems we had were quickly fixed.
